Color Throwdown #619

 I admit, I was cracking myself up with this card!  Who doesn't love a good pun, even for Christmas!  

I was also super excited to have a new twist on a traditional card.  I was struggling to find some inspiration for some new Christmas cards, and between Jennifer McGuire and the 25 Days of Christmas Tags I have been seeing on Pinterest lately, it finally clicked - put a removable tag on my card!  I will put a note inside that the tag can be used as a gift tag, or even an ornament.  

Another admission, I have never really been a fan of tags.  I really don't go through the effort of homemade tags on gifts, and it never really made sense to me to have them on a card.  I have bought some die cuts here and there trying to make them work, but they were my least-reached-for part of my stash.  Now I am inspired again to grab them and start paring them with some of my smaller stamps that I feel get lost on a big card.  

The tag is made with Sunny Studio's Sealiously Sweet stamps (a summer themed set!) and Yeti or Not by Lawn Fawn (for the hat and sentiment).
